My School Life

I go to school in 3 Senior High School Bandung. My story begin from 4 months ago. My first impression of 3 SHS Bandung is ‘waw’ this is the famous school in Bandung, and also in Indonesia. This is my dream school, and now I become the member of this school.

For the first three months, we were only allowed to choose between 3 extracurricular as compulsory extracurricular, that is Scout, Spara, and PMR. And I choose scout. Every saturday we learned about scout with our senior. We learned about how to set up a bivouac, pioneering, cooking, and sedan chair. All of this training is preparation for soon PTA, that is inauguration to become an official member of DU-SMS scout. The training is called pra-PTA. We were dividid into some team. My team name was Perkamen.

Three months had passed, our obligation to follow compulsory extracurricular had felt. After mid-semester, all of extracurricular in this school was opening recruitment for newmember in one day. I signed up in three extracurricular, there were DKM, Scout, and Nihongo Kurabu. One day after oprec, senior of scout told us to gather and asked who was really going to continue scout. And they told us what had to bring for PTA.

Thursday until Saturday, 22-24th October 2015 we went for PTA to Cikole, Lembang. We went there by publik transportation that called “angkot”. We stopped at SMPN 1 Cimahi and from there we walked to the camping site. The route was faaaaaaar away. But our senior always cheer up us, he said “Come on, only one climb and curve ! It isn’t far away”. Every few minutes we stopped and rest, we shared our drinks and foods to each other. We arrived at Cikole in afternoon, and immediately setted up a bivouac. We realized all that we got from the training of pra-PTA. In evening we had a campfire and awarded of scout spirit from our senior ceremony. We slept in bivouac, very cold but fun. The next morning we officially inducted intro DU_SMS scout. We took some photos of us and we went home by publik transportation from Cikole.
